Why This Works:

• Balanced Schedule: This schedule allows for a balance between academics, physical activity, creativity, and emotional development.

• Music is placed at a time when students can focus on creative expression, but it's early enough in the day to avoid cognitive fatigue.

• SEL and Enrichment provide necessary time for personal development and skill-building beyond the traditional classroom lessons.

• The overlap of lunch times means the cafeteria is not overcrowded, and teachers can ensure students get a good break in the middle of the day.
