We are thrilled to announce the opening of Inspire Charter Schools, a new public charter school that will serve the rural areas surrounding Cole Camp, Missouri. This initiative, driven by the Inferno School District, comes in response to the challenges faced by Cole Camp Public Schools in meeting the diverse educational needs of students, especially as they serve nearby smaller towns.

Admission for Current Cole Camp Public School Students

We are pleased to inform you that all students currently enrolled in any of the three Cole Camp Public Schools will receive automatic admission to Inspire Charter Schools. This transition aims to ensure that your child’s educational journey remains uninterrupted and that they continue to receive a quality education.

Temporary Transportation Arrangements

While renovations are underway to prepare the Inspire Charter Schools facilities, we understand that some Cole Camp students may need to be temporarily transported to existing schools within the Inferno School District. We recognize that this may involve longer travel times, but we are committed to remaining flexible and accommodating to meet the needs of our families during this transition.

What This Means for Cole Camp Public Schools

It is essential to clarify that while the Inferno School District will operate Inspire Charter Schools, this does not entail a full merger with Cole Camp Public Schools. Rather, this initiative allows both educational entities to function alongside one another, enhancing the overall educational landscape for all students in our region. This strategic move aims to alleviate some pressures faced by Cole Camp Public Schools, allowing them to focus on their core mission while providing additional options for families.

We believe that the launch of Inspire Charter Schools is a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering high-quality education to every student in our community. We are excited about the potential for Inspire Charter Schools to create a positive and lasting impact on the educational experiences of our rural students.

UPDATE 10/23/2024 

• The district has Hired it DCFO (District Chef Financial Officer) 

• New RFID door locks have been added to the High School. Doors at the Middle School will be done on 10/24/2024 and Elementary to be done 10/25/2024.

• New IT Network Hub: Replacement of the network hub with new appliances, improved Wi-Fi, and enhanced network speeds.

• Classroom Flooring: Installation of new hardwood flooring in ten classrooms by the end of the week.

• Communications Systems: Implementation of new communications systems throughout the school.

• Updated Science Labs: Renovation of science labs with new equipment, updated workstations, and improved safety features.

• Library Revamp: Modernization of the library space with new furniture, updated technology, and a cozy reading area.

• Restroom Upgrades: Renovation of restrooms with new fixtures, better accessibility, and improved lighting.

• Outdoor Spaces: Landscaping enhancements, including new seating areas, gardens, and play structures for outdoor learning and recreation.

• Cafeteria Renovation: Updates to the cafeteria with new seating arrangements, a modern serving area, and improved kitchen facilities.

• Energy Efficiency Improvements: Installation of energy-efficient windows, LED lighting, and better insulation throughout the building.

• Art and Music Rooms: Renovations to art and music rooms with new equipment, instruments, and soundproofing.

• Security Enhancements: Upgrades to security systems, including improved surveillance cameras and access control systems.
